7 weeks to go

Well, we had our measurements today and they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. For the last 2 weeks I have cheated WAY more than I should have. For example, I had several teaspoons of peanut butter, chips and 4 chic nuggets. Right now EVERYTHING I put in my mouth counts! My numbers weren't bad, but they could have been better. I have 7 weeks to go, so I have to get back on the band wagon!!! The first 4 weeks I did pretty good. I'm not sure what happened the last 2 weeks!!!! That little hunger monster got a hold of me and wouldn't let go!!!
I have attached some pictures to show what my kitchen looks like. I have post-it notes everywhere with motivational words written on them to remind me when I feel weak!
In the back of my head, I know I shouldn't be so upset with myself because this is for sure the healthiest I have ever been and the best I have ever felt. I also shouldn't be complaining about the diet because I get to eat every 3 hours. And not only that, I have to eat a good amount of food too. So I'm not starving myself, I'm just eating foods that I may not be in the mood for...
Oh well, I am ready to start looking for my suit and shoes!!! I am still planning on posting some updated pictures...just haven't had the time! I have been too busy fighting that little hunger monster!!...you know that little guy on comercials!!!

My niece celebrated her 4th birthday last night at Jump 4 Joeys in Hiram. Kaley loves places like that. She goes WILD!!

9 weeks left!!!

Only 9 weeks left and I have a long ways to go!!! My team and I were running bleachers this morning and I thought I was going to throw up! When I got to #8, and my partners were still going, I thought to myself, "What in the hell am I doing?" I mean seriously!!! Last night Casey & I were watching our Thursday night TV shows and he was eating a white bread turkey sandwich with MAYO! I don't even like mayo, but mmmmmmm I was eyeballing it the whole time!

Today's Measurements


You lost .70% body fat - Now at 14.89% - At that rate you would be at 11.39% by July show. Our goal for a first show is below 12%, however, I think you can get closer to 10% by July. Tape measure body fat - You lost .83% - Now at 26.93% ^ Critical Pinches = 49.5 millimeters. This may be a better indicator than body fat %. You lost 1 pound of body fat and also lost .48 pounds of lean mass. The average is a 3 to 1 ratio of lean to fat. That is exactly what you did, however, our goal is to increase your lean weight if we can ( and this is very difficult when leaning out). We will track the lean weight for 2 more weeks and perhaps tweak the diet if necessary. Don't fret about this - Charlotte, Jackie and Kasey (the three who received their Pro Cards all lost lean when cutting - so it is very common to do so)Excellent job!RAB
Every other Tuesday is when we get measured. I am pleased with today's results. I can already tell a difference in my upper body, especially my arms. My partner, Brittney, the one who got me into this is probably tired of me calling her and crying the blues! It seems like everytime I talk to her, I am being negative!!! Sorry, I will do better Britt!!!
Have I said how much FUN I am having! It is HARD and even a little emotional at times, but I LOVE IT!!!!

10 weeks left

"Say Cheese"

I thought I would share some sweet pictures of Kaley before I rambled about me!!!

I have finished my first 2 weeks training with my team and so that means only 10 weeks left! I know those 10 weeks are going to creep up on me and I just hope I am ready. I took some before pictures again the other night and was very humbled. It is amazing how well clothes hide little fat pockets here and there!!! Anyways, I am giving this my ALL and I am actually enjoying it. The diet not so much because there is no variation and consistency has always been my downfall. But, we will see. I am still debating on putting my before pictures on this blog.
We were all talking in the gym this morning about how different we look now versus years ago. My 2 partners were saying they were much bigger a few years ago and this is the best shape they have ever been in. My story is right the opposite. All through high school I was really tiny and fit. I started putting on weight right after college. So it is extremely hard to see my before pictures that I took a few weeks ago. I know that I allowed myself to get like that. To some people I may have not looked bad, but I know how I used to look. So anyways, we live and we learn.
